Alf the Label x Dress for Success
Look good and do good: We are thrilled to announce the Alf the Label x Dress for Success partnership beginning 1 August.
Every Alf purchase will now donate $1 to Dress for Success to support women’s professional development and economic independence. Dress for Success offers programs providing donated professional clothing, business mentoring, job search assistance and skills development, career coaching, and networking opportunities at no cost for women across Australia and worldwide.
In Australia alone, Dress for Success supports more than 4,500 women annually. This is a volunteer-driven organisation, with over 27,000 volunteer hours logged per year. Donations made to Dress for Success will ensure their programs can continue to provide crucial assistance to women in our communities.
Alf the Label is a woman-led small business powered by professional women. We have been so fortunate to have had the support of an engaged and passionate community of women and mothers since our inception in 2016. Our bags and accessories are designed to transition women from motherhood to careers with confidence. Our partnership with Dress for Success ensures we can extend our support to women across the country and empower them into the next chapters of their lives.
Where do our donations go?
$25 – A one-on-one session with a Human Resources Specialist to draft their resume.
$50 – A session for resume building and interview coaching support.
$150 – Styling session with a fashion stylist as well as donated clothing and accessories for the interview.
$200 – Six one-on-one career coaching sessions with an accredited career coach.
$350 – Key support for transitioning from welfare to working, with professional clothing and access to digital workshops, resume writing and interview coaching.
$1,000 – Six months of one-on-one career coaching, resume writing, interview preparation, access to digital career support workshops and webinars, networking connections to prospective employers, and a new professional interview outfit. When a woman secures a job, she will also receive a week’s worth of professional clothes.
Alf donations generated from purchases will be donated in the respective Dress for Success chapter in your area across Australia. We encourage our Alf community to join us and get involved in supporting Dress for Success’s mission.
