Alf the Label is a premium accessories brand with a global heart and a high-velocity growth trajectory. Our Shopify store is the center of how we operate. While our creative captures the imagination, it’s the technical "engine" under the hood, our site performance, our Google presence, and our email program that turns curiosity into revenue and revenue into a loyal global community.

We are looking for a methodical, data-driven A-Player to join our team. You are someone who understands that in a high-growth brand, technical accuracy and seamless multi-channel execution are what bridge the gap between a "visit" and a "conversion."

THE ROLE

As our eCommerce and Digital Marketing Specialist, you will own the technical side of how Alf operates online. That means the Shopify store, the email program, the Google ad campaigns, and the data that tells us how all of it is performing. Your job is to keep all of it accurate, well-managed, and improving.

This is an execution-heavy role with a direct impact on the P&L. You aren’t just managing platforms, you are directly moving the needle on our conversion rate, ROAS, and email revenue every single day. You will work closely with our Creative Marketing Lead on campaign delivery, our Senior Buying Manager on merchandising and our Operations Director on site and ad account coordination.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Shopify Management: Full ownership of product uploads, collection curation, inventory updates, pre-orders, and app management.
  • Online Merchandising: Ensuring the right products are featured in the right order at the right time - on the homepage, in collections, and across the site.
  • Klaviyo Management: Building and maintaining automated email flows - including abandoned cart, browse abandonment, and post-purchase sequence - and executing our weekly EDM calendar.
  • AI Search & Discovery Optimisation: Future-proofing the site for Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO). This includes managing structured data, schema markup, and high-intent conversational keywords to ensure Alf is surfaced in AI-generated search results and LLM-driven answers.
  • On-Site AI Search: Managing and optimising our on-site AI search functionality to ensure customers can find exactly what they need through natural language queries.
  • Retention Strategy: List segmentation, managing opt-in pop-ups, and driving lead generation activity to grow our global database.
  • Promotional Execution: Managing the technical rollout of discount codes, sale periods, and site banners to ensure a seamless customer journey.
  • Landing Page Builds: Creating high-converting pages for new collection launches and specific marketing campaigns.
  • Analytics & Optimisation: Monitoring GA4 and heatmaps to flag performance issues and identify opportunities to bridge our conversion rate.
  • Google Ads Management: Management and optimisation of Google Search, Shopping, and Performance Max (pMax) campaigns to drive high-quality, high-converting traffic.
  • Performance Monitoring: Tracking ROAS, CPC, and conversion metrics to ensure our Google spend is aligned with our targets.
  • Reporting: Executing quarterly post-purchase surveys and reporting back on customer sentiment and results.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Platform Expertise: 3+ years of hands-on Shopify experience. You know the platform inside out, this isn’t a role for someone who only accesses the dashboard occasionally.
  • Klaviyo Technicality: You have built complex flows and segmented lists; you don’t just read the reports, you architect the logic.
  • Search Maturity: A solid understanding of traditional SEO and an active interest in AI Search/GEO. You understand how structured data and high-quality site content influence how AI models "read" and recommend our brand.
  • Methodical Accuracy: You take accuracy seriously, you know that in eCommerce, a broken link or a wrong discount code has an immediate commercial cost.
  • Data Literate: You are comfortable in GA4 or similar tools, using data to monitor site health and performance.
  • Functional Copywriting: You can write clear, on-brand, and effective email copy when briefed.
  • Retail Savvy: Experience with promotional planning in a fast-moving product environment is a major advantage.
