An Important Update Regarding Our Australian & USA Pricing

You'll notice some price adjustments on our products in Australia and the USA, effective July 1. I want to be transparent about why we're making this change and what it means for you.
 
When I started Alf the Label in 2016, pregnant with Ari and searching for a stylish yet practical baby bag, I was focused on creating something truly special. The Stella was born from that need, and I began selling bags right from my living room. Your support, especially here in Australia and our early community in the USA, was instrumental in helping Alf the Label grow from a small, family-run business into the global brand it is today. We now proudly send our bags to parents in over 60 countries worldwide.
 
As we've grown, so have our aspirations and our commitment to quality. We're committed to continually elevating our products. We've sourced higher quality materials, invested in custom-made, improved hardware, and partnered with boutique factories that uphold the highest standards. This evolution means Alf the Label now stands shoulder-to-shoulder with other luxury brands in terms of our quality and styling. We genuinely believe our products are on par with these high-end brands, but our original pricing doesn't reflect this premium quality.
 
While we've done our best to absorb the rising costs associated with these quality improvements, along with increases in production, freight, and supply chain, maintaining those original price points is simply no longer sustainable for us as a small business in the slow fashion industry. The reality is, our products were under-priced to a point where continuing to sell at those prices would make Australia and the USA unprofitable markets for us. With the majority of our customers now being international, we've reached a point where we either need to adjust our pricing in these key markets or, unfortunately, stop selling here altogether.
 
This was an incredibly difficult decision, but these price adjustments are essential to allow us to continue operating and providing our high-quality, luxury-standard products to our Australian and USA customers. This change will enable us to cover a fraction of the increased costs and ensure Alf the Label remains a viable business for years to come.
